Convenient and Easy: Telehealth

At Woodburn Pediatric Clinic, we understand that a parent’s life is filled with schedules: school, sports, social events, the list goes on. But when it comes to your child’s health, you shouldn’t have to feel pressed for time.

We want to be accessible whenever makes sense for you. That’s why we offer telehealth visits for your convenience. Technology isn’t the easiest to understand, so we’ve laid out what you need to know to be squared away for your child’s telehealth appointment!

Computer or Mobile? Answers You Need

For our telehealth appointments, you will need access to a computer or smartphone that has camera and microphone capabilities, as well as stable WiFi connectivity. Please ensure that your device is fully charged and you and your child are free from interruptions during the duration of the scheduled appointment.

Computer or Laptop:

We recommend setting up your space five to ten minutes before your appointment begins, ensuring that your device is plugged in and the WiFi connection is strong. Your provider will email you a “provider link”, which will take you to a login page and then to our virtual waiting room. Here, you’ll be able to test your microphone and camera compatibility to ensure an issue-free session. Your provider will begin the appointment when it is time.

Smartphone:

If you are accessing your telehealth appointment via smartphone, your provider will securely text you a link. This will navigate you to your virtual appointment login screen, and then to our virtual waiting room where you can test your microphone and camera compatibility. Your child’s provider will begin your appointment when it is time.

Below are links you will use to connect with your provider for your telemedicine visit. If you cannot find the email or text message link from your child’s pediatrician, you can access the portal and waiting room through these URLs, just click on the link that corresponds with the correct provider and you’ll be set!
