Telehealth Appointments
Telehealth: Convenient & Easy
Yes, the COVID-19 pandemic put telemedicine on the radar and kept healthcare providers, like Woodburn Pediatric, connected to their patients. Post-pandemic, telehealth is still incredibly beneficial from health and accessibility perspectives.
We want to be accessible whenever it makes sense for you. That’s why we offer telehealth visits for your convenience. While technology isn’t the easiest to understand, we’ve laid out what you need to know to be squared away for your child’s telehealth appointment! Read on for more information about how to prepare for your telehealth appointment.
Access Your Appointment via Computer or Smartphone
We recommend setting up your space five to ten minutes before your appointment begins, ensuring that your device is plugged in and the WiFi connection is strong. Your provider will email or text you a secure “provider link”, which will take you to a login page and then to our virtual waiting room. Here, you’ll be able to test your microphone and camera compatibility to ensure an issue-free session. Your provider will begin the appointment when it is time.
Need Some Assistance?
Below are three informational videos demonstrating the different login methods for our three supported browsers (Chrome, Firefox, and Safari). Please use these as a resource to ensure that you and your child are squared away for your telehealth visit!
Below are links you will use to connect with your provider for your telemedicine visit. If you cannot find the email or text message link from your child’s pediatrician, you can access the portal and waiting room through these URLs, just click on the link that corresponds with the correct provider and you’ll be set!
