ADHD Informational Video

Learn about what ADHD is, what causes it, and what treatments can help your child in the informational videos below (available in English and Spanish).

Children with ADHD

Inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity are key behaviors of ADHD, which also includes the disorder previously known as ADD. Unfortunately, untreated ADHD can interfere with your child’s ability to function in social and learning environments. Check out our online videos to learn more.

ADHD myths are incredibly prevalent in our culture, and the disorder is often misunderstood by parents and pediatric providers alike. Luckily, there are many treatments available to help your child thrive. Whether your child needs ADHD medication or behavioral therapy to help them stay focused, we have the resources you need to educate yourself and help your child meet their developmental needs.

Children with Anxiety & Depression

Parenting children with anxiety and depression can be scary and overwhelming for parents who just want their child or teen to be happy and healthy. But you don’t have to go it alone! We can help you navigate youth behavioral health services to help your child manage their anxiety and depression symptoms. Like you, we want to provide your child with the support they need to manage their illness and live life to the fullest.

Learning Disability Services

We can also help if your child is showing symptoms of dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, or other learning differences. Because learning disabilities can be subtle and difficult to diagnose in young children, it can be helpful to include a health professional with experience in both diagnosis and treatment. At Woodburn Clinic, our providers and primary care clinic staff have the expertise to diagnose learning disabilities, provide helpful resources and treatment plans, and offer support for parents who want to help better navigate their child’s education. We can also give advice to help foster a more compassionate and resourced environment at your child’s school.

We offer pediatric primary care services to patients in Woodburn, Salem, and other nearby communities. It is always our goal to promote an environment of understanding, trust, and compassion. Contact us today to schedule an appointment and get your child the care they deserve from providers who truly care about their patients.
